1000 Voices, A national film archive of American storytelling and citizen action tools. Every voice can create big change.

A U.S. based film, video and advocacy tool collection based at the Tribeca Film Center and partnering with POV and American Documentary that connects film makers, advocates and advocacy communities, teachers, educators, and classrooms to create short form films and videos of one thousand Americans telling stories that reflect their values.

This archive is being presented at a critical time when our nation's ideas about social equity and community are widely being called into question. Every voice creates big change. And so the 1000 Voices Archive is designed to tap into the power of stories to encourage community conversations through a wide range of advocacy tools. In this way, each of our storyteller videos becomes a "public dialogue engine."
